This design uses the wood and plaster walls found in classic smalls, the L shape, or the villa. By using corner posts and the same idea of the railings on a white marble, you can get a ranch looking design with the small wooden wall pieces. Though, when split into rooms remember that the dimensions of the sandstone will create long rooms with less width. The bedroom is large enough for a bed, dressers and a small work area. The entrance can be a casual sitting/living room area. I would however probably switch the made bed for a crafted one that covers less tiles with its length.

The roof is great for dining and provides a smithing area that can also be turned into a gardening or other work area. Wooden wall pieces are used to separate the two, but you will lose one walkable tile for every south or east wall, so I used the stone and walk- through plants to separate the dinning and garden areas. the area is big enough for a fountain or pond and gives a nice relaxing feeling to the entire design.

The plaster and wood give it a overall ranch feel, especially with the railing design. This would be a good layout for a personal home, but there is some issues as far as, feeling more enclosed then the previous vendor house design.
