This is the first in what will become a regular monthly update from your fearless editor, me!
April will bring many new changes here at Ianstorm. We are currently working on transitioning away from our old identity of primarily MMO game coverage and becoming a newer, better site for everyone to enjoy. I look forward to helping the site evolve into what the readers want it to be, one of the very few honest video game sites out there.
Yes, I said honest. There are many sites out there which have A LOT more readers than we do. These sites are run by large companies with deep pockets. However, they do not offer objective views on every product. These sites are paid off (in either product or money) to give the items they are reviewing a higher score. In the end, the review turns out to be a paid advertisement in the guise of a review. I promise that this site will NEVER give a higher score to any product for any reason.
Over the next few months, this site will be adopting a new identity, with many new faces coming on board to write more of the great content you've grown to expect.
Speaking of new identities, we are currently looking for a new name for our site. While we are working on this internally, we always are happy to take suggestions from our readers. If you have a good idea for a site identity, go ahead and sent it to me. If we end up using it, we'd definitely credit you.
