Ianstorm is currently looking for talented people for the following positions:

News Reporters

The life blood of any site, news reporters will be responsible for researching and reporting on daily industry events. News reporters must have a love for gaming and an eye for finding interesting news tidbits. Those interested in the following positions will be required to check forums and other sources of news items and report them accordingly.

Applicants:

• Must have strong news writing skills, including the use of grammar, spelling and sentence structure.
• Must have an understanding of the basic news values and how to gather material for news reports.
• Should have a working knowledge of HTML.
• Must own a personal computer and a reliable Internet connection.

If you feel that you are lacking in any of the following qualities but are tenacious, inquisitive and willing to learn, then Ianstorm may still be a place you can call home. While currently all jobs are done on a voluntary basis some of the advantages of working with Ianstorm include free games (if you would like the opportunity to review) and interaction with game developers themselves.

Console News Reporter - Job responsibilities include researching web sites and forums for console related news. If you specialize in a particular console area, please specify in the response. Help develop directory of sites and forums to check for console related news. Conduct interviews with members of the Industry.

Hardware News Reporter - Job responsibilities include researching web sites and forums for hardware related news. Help develop directory of sites and forums to check for hardware related news and information. Conduct interviews with members of the Industry.

PC News Reporter - Job responsibilities include researching web sites and forums for PC related news. Help develop directory of sites and forums to check for PC related news and information. Conduct 1 interview a week with members of the Industry.

World Reporters - The most important trait for world reporters is a love for the games you cover and the insatiable need to find out as much information about the games through developer posts in forums and searching related sites and forums for information that would interest readers. Job responsibilities include researching web sites and forums for World  related news. Help develop directory of sites and forums to check for World related news and information.

We are currently seeking interested people to report for the following worlds:

• Dark Ages of Camelot
• Ultima Online
• Star Wars Galaxies
• Final Fantasy Online

Reviewers

Demo Reviewers - Demo reviewers are asked to be able to provide a demo write up of some of the hottest released demos once a week for readers. Knowledge of gaming and excellent writing skills are a plus and full staff positions can be obtained after going through a demo reviewer probation period.
